After a successful international experience last year, Writekids returned home to launch a local writing contest for elementary school children, focusing on TK to 3rd graders. Once again, the Writekids judging panel was impressed by the number of entries and hopes to keep inspiring children to read, think and write creatively. First, second, and third place winners were chosen and each received a Barnes & Noble gift card. The winning stories are posted below.
