WriteKids is pleased to announce the winners of our second international writing contest! Over 300 stories were submitted by Nepali high school students. Each winner will receive a prize and WriteKids is proud to make a donation to St. Xavier’s School in Jawalakhel, Nepal.
The prompt for our international contest was “If you could have dinner with any person in this world who would it be?” Many students chose their family members to dine with. Others chose celebrities, sports athletes, authors, teachers. Many students bore their souls writing heartfelt tributes about their dinner mates who have profoundly influenced them or selflessly sacrificed for them. We thank the students for their fine efforts and hope they will continue to dream, imagine and write! Congratulations to all! Following are the winners:
